Why Ngobrol?

Not your average ice-breaker

Questions that are actually curated.

Not raw AI templates — every card passes through a human editor.

Everyday language

Written for how people really talk.

Not a translated American deck. Warm, conversational tone — never clinical.

Every visit feels different

A mystery deck per device.

Each visit serves fresh cards — you'll never get the same question twice on the same phone.

How does it work?

  1. Step 1: Choose who you're talking to — a friend, someone you're getting to know, or your partner.

  2. Step 2: Pick how deep you want to go — Light, Medium, or Deep.

  3. Step 3: Draw a card, listen slowly, take turns.

Who is it for?

For friends who haven't had a real conversation in a while.

For early dating when small talk keeps winning.

For couples who are comfortable but want to feel closer.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ngobrol free?

Yes, completely free. Premium themed packs may come later, but the core decks stay free.

Where is my data stored?

Saved cards and your 'already seen' history live on your device. An account is only needed if you want sync across devices (coming soon).

Can two people play together?

The first version is solo — take turns showing cards to the person next to you. Real-time multiplayer is on the roadmap.

Who writes the questions?

Questions are drafted with team, then reviewed by expert before they go live. Indonesian editors check tone, cultural fit, and safety.

Why Indonesian category names like Sahabat and PDKT?

They're part of the brand identity — the way Indonesians actually name these relationship stages. The questions and UI are in English; the categories stay recognizably Ngobrol.

Is Ngobrol suitable for under-17s?

Light and Medium levels are fine. Deep decks are aimed at 17+ because they touch on more personal topics.
